These pieces are for younger listeners. Something primordial and cosmic, even Lovecraftian is conveyed in the first movement. The second movement is very simple, happy, and folk-like; picture a bunch of little animals, vegetables, and minerals dancing around in a garden. But there are still a few strange surprises.
